Show #34 - What the Hell Happened to Your Head?! (29.61MB; download) -- On today's show, I talk about MySpace, moronic grocery store employees and the crazy transformation of Paws, the Detroit Tiger mascot. I couldn't find any good before and after pics, so this one will have to do. It doesn't do the neck justice, though.
Oh yeah, here's the 4 great bands that I play, too:

Career-Op: Help people help themselves (2.77MB; download) -- As computer users, we all have to start somewhere. Even those of you who now work in computer careers started out knowing nothing about computers or technology. For most of you, working with computers came easily. Unfortunately, this same ease can often lead us to forget our role as teachers and leaders to those people who have the needs, if not the knowledge, to make the best use of computers in their work and life. Too often technology workers react to basic computer questions with condescension and even outright hostility. If you hope to succeed in a computer career and see technology have its best effect on society, you need to guard against this at all costs. Beginners need technology and people who can help them use it.

The Living Arts: The Future of LearningOnline (22.34MB; download) -- Slides
and MP3
Audio of my talk today at the University of
Guelph. The title is derived from my walking tour yesterday
of Mississauga, a tour that led me to the Living Arts
Centre. I used this as a metaphor for a picture of
education as immersion in what might be called real-world
activities, showed how game based learning and workflow
learning are steps in this direction, and explained how the
mechanisms of content syndication and e-portfolios, as
described in Scott Wilson's recent talk, are the mechanisms
that make this possible. Sorry about the size of the
PowerPoint (7 meg) - I need to reduce the size of some of
the photos I took in Mississauga. (mpeg) By Stephen Downes,
