Add this to another station Episode 17 -- Interviews with Information Artisans -- 04-01-05 (10.95MB; download) -- This podcast includes two interviews that I found myself conducting this week. One is with Ric Swiner, a TV journalists with WB22 News, here in Raleigh. He interviewed me about podcasting, and I somehow found myself interviewing him about the skills he needed to be a TV communicator. You can see the news report that WB22 posted about Podcasting that evening by going to the following URL: http://davidwarlick.com/podcasting.mov The second interview is with Paul Gilster. Paul wrote some of the earliest Internet books including Internet Navigator. Gilster also wrote Digital Literacy, and his most recent book, Centauri Dreams, is about the future of interstellar space travel. Paul also maintains a very active blog about astronomy and space travel, by the same name, Centauri Dreams. Add this to another station TinyPodcast 2005-04-26 (18.54MB; download) -- I'm a day late in posting this week's podcast. Brian and I recorded it yesterday, but I've been too busy to get a post up. So this is going to be a quick post, just to get it out there, and I'll come back later and post up some more detailed show notes. This week's show weighs in at about 40 minutes, 20 MB, as usual. You can download the MP3 file directly (right-click, save as), or subscribe to the TinyPodcast RSS feed in your favorite podcast aggregator. This week, Brian gives us a demo of some cool advanced features that he discovered in Microsoft's OneNote application, we have a look at the new street-level signal strength map from T-Mobile, discuss my rationale in choosing the Sony PSP over the Nintendo DS, talk about the Portland Geek Dinner I attended last Friday night with Chris Pirillo and Ponzi, and all the usual exciting geeky stuff that we always talk about. The Video Edition conpanion to this week's podcast will be posted as soon as it gets processed through Ourmedia.org, and becomes available for download (fingers crossed). You can send us feedback at tinyscreenfuls@gmail.com, call our voice feedback line at 206-339-TINY, or post a comment here. Let us know what we're doing well, what you'd like to see us do differently, or just drop a note to say Hi. Thanks for listening!
