Why should we bother paying for more expensive wines when there’s so much good wine out there for around $10? The answer is depth. Wines at less expensive price points can be very satisfying, but a wine that costs a bit more, that’s been fairly priced for what it delivers, can demonstrate a richness and complexity that a cheaper wine can never display. Experiment for yourself. Taste them side by side and note the difference. See if the more expensive example will hold your interest longer. If it does, you’ll drink less and enjoy it more.
