EdTechTalk #28 - An interview with Bob Sprankle and Bud The Teacher (14.56MB; download) -- Voices from the Field - Bob and Bud talk about it actually working in the classroom (1:03:39)
Bud Hunt and Bob Sprankle dropped by this Sunday to talk to us about what's going on in their classes... which is alot. From 9 year old podcasters to high school blogging it was a round trip ticket to the best that's going on in K-12 edtech. Barbara Ganley dropped in near the end of the show and we jammed out some ideas for collaboration, for kids training adults and worked out a quick competition for an Edtechtalk coffee mug emailed to your computer. Ed Tech Brainstorm 17a - How to build the 'best' multimedia classroom
This first half of the brainstorm was a little more focused than many of our brainstorm. Dave started the show with a simple question, if you were going to build the 'best' multimedia classroom, what would you do. It was a fun, and informative discussion. We also talked a little near the end about the upcoming wikibooks debate. Dave Cormier, Jeff Flynn and Art Gelwicks presiding.

EdTechTalk#31-January 8, 2006
ETT 31 was our first show back after a long break. We took the opportuntiy to cover some edtech news including an unheard of three thumbs up from Jeff for Blogbridge. We were visited by Erin and Barbara our correspondents who gave us the skinny on Podcastercon. We were also very fortunate to be visited by Clarence Fisher and we talked about leadership and his leap-frog idea of teacher training. All that and our first edublogosphere roundup and our hopes and projects for 2006. Check. It. Out.

EducationBridges#1 - Wikibooks - a textbook solution
The use of wikis at textbooks is an idea that creates serious discussion. There is a need for serious debate about it if this project should be pursued responsibly. Some say wikis as texts are inevitable. We invite you to contribute your thoughts on the topic and join in our show next week.
Homework for the next show What is a wikibook... in your mind...
"how do we get to the beachhead?" that is "how do we get from the conversation to that first introduction of this project into the classroom. what should the first step be."
Our next webcast about wikibooks will take place on January 18 at 8pmEST.
