Communication Tools for Online Educators (12.07MB; download) -- Over the past few months I have been developing lightweight (60k) internet applications that allow an instructor to record audio and video directly to their online courses from any internet enabled computer. The recording can be accessed by students live within the online course, or can be played back asynchronously. All the instructor needs in order to record is a web camera and/or an inexpensive mic ( built-in computer mic works fine).
