Dr. Ajay Kothari, Tuesday, 9-24-24 (10.41MB; download) -- Dr. Ajay Kothari returned as our guest. We started out with my asking Ajay about the lasted FAA-SpaceX tension and the fact that it seemed like one part of the government, NASA, was in opposition to other parts of the government, FAA, re SpaceX and Musk. This was possibly contributing delays for Artemis. I asked Ajay what he knew about all of this given his presence next to the Beltway and his connections. Don't miss how Ajay responded to this question. Next, we turned our attention to his repurposing nuclear propulsion for power on the Moon, in cislunar and for going to Mars project. He talked about using thorium and then U233. He explained the project which was also depicted in his PPT on our blog. He fielded many email questions plus he talked with several callers. What do you think of his plan & project. Let us know with your blog comments. Selected by: David Livingston [ stations ], Wed, 25 Sep 2024 14:15:02 UTC
